Born and raised in northeastern New Jersey. Graduated from Holy Trinity High School and Fairleigh Dickenson University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Moved to London in 1978 and married my husband Rocky in London in December 1980. Moved to New York in 1983 and joined Chemical Bank in 1983. Chemical Bank eventually became JPMorgan Chase through a series of mergers. Rose to the level of Vice President and transferred to Chase Bank Texas in 1998 and took early retirement in 2003. Started Happy Tails Pet Sitting upon retirement in 2003. My husband and I currently reside in Katy, TX.
About Happy Tails Pet Sitting
I am a retired VP from JP Morgan Chase. I took early retirement in 2003 and started Happy Tails Pet Sitting. I have always loved animals and being in the company of animals. Our goal has always stayed the same: To make travel stress free for pet owners and their pets. We believe that pets are more comfortable and less stressed when they can stay in their own homes while their owners are at work or out of town. We believe that also reduces the stress and the anxiety of the pet owner knowing someone responsible is taking care of their pets and watching out for their homes while they are away. We take care of our customer's pets and their homes just like they are our own. And that doesn't mean just coming to your pet and your home for a short visit just to feed them. We will do everything that you do when you care for your pet. We make sure they get not only fresh food and water but also affection, attention and play time. We administer any necessary medications at no additional cost.
ââââWe charge a flat rate. There are no "extra charges" for any service.
We are happy to:
- Provide fresh food and Water at every visit
- Clean litter boxes or cages
- Prepare special meals for pets finicky tastes or medical conditions
- Provide attention and affection to ease loneliness and anxiety
- Administer medications at no additional cost
- Mid-day potty breaks for dogs whose owners work long hours
- Bring in any packages or newspapers left on your property
- Collect your mail
- Alter lights and blinds
- âTake out garbage and return emptied bins
- Water plants - indoor and outdoor
- Clean up pet messesâ

- Boarding of any type
- Grooming of any type
We do everything we can to make it look like everything is normal at your home.

Maddy - She's so cute
Happy Tales has been caring for our dogs for many years. They are wonderful! Our dogs are happy to see us when we get home, but they are calm and happy within 15 minutes. Nothing like the behavior we have seen when boarding, they are anxious, nervous and panting for an entire day afterward. Happy Tales are very competent giving medications and taking good care of my sick dogs when I was in Europe. - Happy Tails Pet Sitting has been part of our family for more than 5 years and we couldn’t lead our busy lives without them. We started out having one older golden who immediately fell in love with Rocky and Susan and looked forward to their two a day visits every work day. Then we added our golden girl Maddie, a rambunctious puppy to the mix and they gave her the time (and patience) that a new puppy needed. Their flexibility of adding an additional visit or giving them a medicine was always met with a “sure no problem”. Never once in the 5 years have they had to cancel a visit.
